About the founder
Lisa Womble.
NPC fitness competitor. USA powerlifter. Coach to thousands of Sanford clients since 1998.

Lisa opened One On One Fitness Studio in 1998 with a simple belief: every body deserves a coach who actually pays attention. No machines on autopilot, no class of forty staring at one instructor. Just one trainer, one client, and one plan that works.
As a competitive NPC fitness athlete and USA powerlifter, Lisa knows what it takes to change a body — the training, the nutrition, the recovery, the mindset. She brings that same precision to clients in their 20s, 50s, and 70s alike.
For 25+ years, the studio has been a quiet fixture on South Steele Street. Generations of Sanford have walked through the door looking for change, and walked out with the strength, confidence, and habits to keep it.
Coaching that's personal. Results that last.
At One on One Fitness Studio, you're not just another number—you're coached with purpose.
We believe that strength training is one of the most powerful tools you can invest in—not just for how you look, but for how you move, feel, and live every day. Our approach combines proper technique, progressive strength development, and purposeful programming to help you build a body that is strong, capable, and resilient.
We combine expert strength training, individualized programming, and real accountability to help you build a body that's strong, capable, and built for life. Every client has a plan, every movement has intention, and every result is earned.
We focus on longevity just as much as results. That means prioritizing movement quality, injury prevention, mobility, and recovery—so you can continue training hard and living fully for years to come.
This isn't a quick fix.
This is real coaching—and real transformation.
